This page is all about the basic information for SwagBuck Games. This page is excellent for newer members to swagbucks or members who had not played or tried out the games yet on SwagBucks. SB stands for Swag Bucks. The website is at www.swagbucks.com; To access the Swag Buck game website: http://www.swagbucks.com/games. A very important feature to Swag Buck Games is the ability to earn SB from playing SB Games! Here's the basic information to games and tournaments in SB.
From SB Blog
Free Play – All of our games offer Free Play, which means it does not cost you any Swag Bucks to play. You can earn up to 10 Swag Bucks per day just by playing games in Free Play mode. Keep in mind, if you quit out of the game rather than playing through to the end, you will not receive Swag Bucks.
Tournaments - There are three different types of game tournaments:
Limited Entry Tournaments - These tournaments are limited by number of entry. You may only enter limited entry tournaments once. The tournament closes when the final player has entered. If a limited entry tournament is only open to 4 people, it will close upon the 4th entry.
Limited Time Tournaments - These tournaments are limited by amount of time. You may enter as many times as you like.
Progressive Tournaments - These tournaments are like limited time tournaments in that you may enter as many times as you like and that they are limited by amount of time. However, these tournaments are special in that the more people that enter the tournament, the more the 1st place winner will receive.
Swagbucks also says that it may take up two hours before you are awarded your SB from winning a tournament. To earn your SB, make sure that you have any Ad-Blocker software disabled. Flash is also required to play SB Games. Using Google Chrome is recommended.
Now for opinions: Are the games really worth it?
The SB Games are fun, some of them. You earn two SB for every two games you play in Free Play Mode, up to 10 SB / daily. Or you can take a risk and put a little of your SB in to a tournament with the goal of trying to win and get more SB then what you already put in. Every tournament but the 2 SB Limited Entry tournament will make more SB for SwagBucks Team than the players. For example, a VIP Tournament costs 100 SB to enter. Five people are allowed to enter. If you earn first place, you win a profit of 150 SB or 250 SB total including the cost to enter. Second place earns 150, and Third place earns 50 SB. Second place will give you no profit; break even, and third place will give you a loss of 50 SB. In the end, 100(5players) = 500 SB in the tournament overall. The payouts are 250, 150, and 50 totaling 450 SB. Where did the extra 50 go? It went to the SB Team. This is how it works on all tournaments, even limited time tournaments (it's equal for 2 SB limited entry though). My opinion: Is it worth it? Answer: Hell yeah, it is. If you're skilled at the game, of course! The difference between SwagStakes and this is that Games are skill and SwagStakes are luck (I actually believe the prizes there are rigged, at least for the big prizes). If you spend enough practice in a game and you master the game... try a tournament. Start off small and see if you win those, then go big. Once you are the master of the masters, you pretty much will _always_ no doubt, earn a profit on these games. If you're not as skilled though, you will no doubt, probably lose SB. So what do I think? Go for it. Try and see if you can win these tournaments! If you're really good, you can score an average of a 5 dollar gift card each 2-3 days depending on the tourneys.
